In every sip, all the quality of artisanal organic production
Azienda Agricola Santa Lucia’s wines are the outcome of rigorous cultivation of native cultivars like Nero di Troia, Bombino Nero, Fiano and Negroamaro, plus a tiny percentage of Malbec, Aleatico di Puglia and Moscato, which are currently not bottled. Every vine, every secular olive tree, is cultivated like a garden plant and, since 2009, has respected the rules and limits of organic agriculture, with very low use of sulfites in wines and selected yeasts on musts.
Clusters are grown to exalt and valorize whatever this land – and season – can express with fruits. The rigorous, handmade harvest is followed by grape selection and destemming for the reds only, pneumatic soft pressing, all in stainless steel, including alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
Wine aging is run in oak barriques, 35 hl oak barrels, vitrified concrete or steel tanks, according to the kind of wine. Only the free-run must is bottled, separating the so-called pressed material.
Each of our wines expresses the cleanliness and identity of the territory from which it originates and provides an experience that is both refined and representative of modern Puglia enology, especially of its micro-territory: cadastral sheet number 30 and 40, parcels numbers 2,3 and following, testifying to their historicity.
Our annual production consist, approximately, at fifty thousand bottles.
Riserva Le More
Organic red Castel del Monte DOCG wine, pure Nero di Troia grapes, aged 12-18 months in 225L barriques. High-density single Guyot cultivation method. It loves aging in glass, and does not fear any comparison with other important red grape wines.

Organic red Castel del Monte DOP wine is obtained by hot-cold maceration in rotating stainless steel tanks of pure Nero di Troia grapes. Tannin structure and fruit taste. A good bearer of quality/price rate.
